Her Life & Legacy

Teodula Dompol, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on 10/31/2026 at the age of 91. Born in Alburquerque, Bohol to Emeliano Jumawan and Eusebia Jumawan, she grew up with a passion for hard work and for feeding the people she loved. As a young woman she worked the farm side by side with her husband, through early mornings and long seasons in the fields. Every Wednesday she brought food she had prepared to the public market, where her stall became a familiar and welcome sight.

In her later years, when she could no longer walk, her world grew quieter but never smaller. She filled her days with reading and with long conversations with her grandchildren, who gathered around her to share their stories and listen to hers. Throughout her life, Teodula touched countless lives through her warmth, generosity, and strong spirit.
